CCNa, is a cross-linked, partially carboxymethyl cellulose sodium salt, with a white or off-white appearance powder. CCNa is hygroscopic, and swells in water to form a suspension.
In food industry, can be used for dietary supplements.
In pharmaceutical industry, can be used in tablets, capsules, and granules as a disintegrant, which has a good disintegration effect, high speed and uniform dispersion. And as known as a “susperdisintegrant”. Generally can be added 0.5-5% for tablet.
