PAPER-MAKING
PAPER-MAKING
Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is a highly efficient papermaking agent. Its aqueous solution has excellent properties such as water retention, film forming, stability, pulp fiber affinity and adhesion, which make paper fiber easy to affinity, all kinds of fillers are more evenly distributed in pulp and improve the uniformity of paper.
The application in coated paper can control the rheology of the coating and the dispersion of the pigment. The coating system is even and stable, the coating is smooth and gloss, and has good film forming property.
In the process of surface sizing, the strength and smoothness of paper can be improved, the wear resistance, smoothness and surface strength of paper are increased, the ink absorption property can be improved and the printing quality is improved.
In sizing applications, CMC enhance the tension and bonding force of fibers, and improve strength and toughness. Increase the retention rate of various additives, fillers and small fibers.
Paper-making grade CMC models: PL-5, PL-10, PL-20, PL-30, PL60, PL100
